Prophecy on JESUS:
Micah 5:2
King James Version
2 But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah,
though thou be little among the thousands of Judah,
yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me
that is to be ruler in Israel;
whose goings forth have been from of old,
from everlasting.
Days ago, president Trump "nixed" the idea that Israel can annex Judea, and Samaria.
Is he right in declaring that?
What basis does the world have in denying Israel her land?
Why is there so much conflict about those lands?
We shall explore it here.
A born again watchman always looks to the Bible.
What does Scripture say?
What is truth?
Here's where SPIRIT led me --
"The land of Israel was divided into three provinces, Judea, Samaria, and Galilee, which comprehended the whole northern section of the country (Acts 9:31), and was the largest of the three. It was the scene of some of the most memorable events of Jewish history."
Acts 9:31
King James Version
31 Then had the churches rest throughout
all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria,
and were edified;
and walking in the fear of the Lord,
and in the comfort of the Holy Ghost,
were multiplied.
On JUDEA:
Hebrew: יְהוּדָה —transliteration: Yehudah —meaning: probably “praised,” name of a son of Jacob, and the name of Judah’s descendants, and the Kingdom of Judah
"The province of Judea, as distinguished from Galilee and Samaria, included the territories of the tribes of Judah, Benjamin, Dan, Simeon, and part of Ephraim."
Matthew 2:1-2
King James Version
2 Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea
in the days of Herod the king, behold,
there came wise men from the east
to Jerusalem,
2 Saying, Where is he
that is born King of the Jews?
for we have seen his star in the east,
and are come to worship him.
Matthew 2:3-6
King James Version
3 When Herod the king had heard these things,
he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.
4 And when he had gathered all the chief priests
and scribes of the people together,
he demanded of them
where Christ should be born.
5 And they said unto him,
In Bethlehem of Judaea:
for thus it is written by the prophet,
6 And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda,
art not the least among the princes of Juda:
for out of thee shall come a Governor,
that shall rule my people Israel.
Matthew 3:1-3
King James Version
3 In those days came John the Baptist,
preaching in the wilderness of Judaea,
2 And saying, Repent ye:
for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
3 For this is he that was spoken of
by the prophet Esaias, saying,
The voice of one crying in the wilderness,
Prepare ye the way of the Lord,
make his paths straight.
Matthew 4:23-25
King James Version
23 And Jesus went about all Galilee,
teaching in their synagogues,
and preaching the gospel of the kingdom,
and healing all manner of sickness
and all manner of disease among the people.
24 And his fame went throughout all Syria:
and they brought unto him all sick people
that were taken with divers diseases and torments,
and those which were possessed with devils,
and those which were lunatick,
and those that had the palsy;
and he healed them.
25 And there followed him
great multitudes of people
from Galilee,
and from Decapolis,
and from Jerusalem,
and from Judaea,
and from beyond Jordan.
During JESUS' ministry:
John 4:3-6
King James Version
3 He left Judaea, and departed again into Galilee.
4 And he must needs go through Samaria.
5 Then cometh he to a city of Samaria,
which is called Sychar,
near to the parcel of ground
that Jacob gave to his son Joseph.
6 Now Jacob's well was there.
Jesus therefore, being wearied with his journey,
sat thus on the well: and it was about the sixth hour.
On SAMARIA:
"In the heart of the mountains of Israel, a few miles northwest of Shechem, stands the “hill of Shomeron,” a solitary mountain, a great “mamelon.” It is an oblong hill, with steep but not inaccessible sides, and a long flat top. Omri, the king of Israel, purchased this hill from Shemer its owner for two talents of silver, and built on its broad summit the city to which he gave the name of “Shomeron”, i.e., Samaria, as the new capital of his kingdom instead of Tirzah(1 Kings 16:24).
1 Kings 16:23-29
King James Version
23 In the thirty and first year of Asa king of Judah
began Omri to reign over Israel, twelve years:
six years reigned he in Tirzah.
24 And he bought the hill Samaria of Shemer
for two talents of silver,
and built on the hill,
and called the name of the city which he built,
after the name of Shemer, owner of the hill,
Samaria.
25 But Omri wrought evil in the eyes of the Lord,
and did worse than all that were before him.
26 For he walked in all the way of Jeroboam
the son of Nebat,
and in his sin wherewith he made Israel to sin,
to provoke the Lord God of Israel to anger
with their vanities.
27 Now the rest of the acts of Omri which he did,
and his might that he shewed,
are they not written in the book
of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?
28 So Omri slept with his fathers,
and was buried in Samaria:
and Ahab his son reigned in his stead.
29 And in the thirty and eighth year of Asa
king of Judah began Ahab the son of Omri
to reign over Israel:
and Ahab the son of Omri
reigned over Israel in Samaria
twenty and two years.
Now, a story on a king of Syria, a king of Israel, prophets, Samaria, obedience, and GOD's power over battles:
1 Kings 20:1-4
King James Version
20 And Benhadad the king of Syria
gathered all his host together:
and there were thirty and two kings with him,
and horses, and chariots;
and he went up and besieged Samaria,
and warred against it.
2 And he sent messengers
to Ahab king of Israel into the city,
and said unto him, Thus saith Benhadad,
3 Thy silver and thy gold is mine;
thy wives also and thy children,
even the goodliest, are mine.
4 And the king of Israel answered and said,
My lord, O king, according to thy saying,
I am thine, and all that I have.
1 Kings 20:5-6
King James Version
5 And the messengers came again, and said,
Thus speaketh Benhadad, saying,
Although I have sent unto thee, saying,
Thou shalt deliver me thy silver, and thy gold,
and thy wives, and thy children;
6 Yet I will send my servants unto thee to morrow
about this time, and they shall search thine house,
and the houses of thy servants; and it shall be,
that whatsoever is pleasant in thine eyes,
they shall put it in their hand, and take it away.
1 Kings 20:7-8
King James Version
7 Then the king of Israel called
all the elders of the land, and said,
Mark, I pray you,
and see how this man seeketh mischief:
for he sent unto me for my wives,
and for my children, and for my silver,
and for my gold; and I denied him not.
8 And all the elders and all the people said unto him,
Hearken not unto him, nor consent.
1 Kings 20:9
King James Version
9 Wherefore he said
unto the messengers of Benhadad,
Tell my lord the king,
All that thou didst send for
to thy servant at the first I will do:
but this thing I may not do.
And the messengers departed,
and brought him word again.
1 Kings 20:10-11
King James Version
10 And Benhadad sent unto him, and said,
The gods do so unto me, and more also,
if the dust of Samaria shall suffice
for handfuls for all the people that follow me.
11 And the king of Israel answered
and said, Tell him,
Let not him that girdeth on his harness
boast himself as he that putteth it off.
1 Kings 20:12
King James Version
12 And it came to pass,
when Ben-hadad heard this message,
as he was drinking,
he and the kings in the pavilions,
that he said unto his servants,
Set yourselves in array.
And they set themselves in array
against the city.
1 Kings 20:13
King James Version
13 And, behold, there came a prophet
unto Ahab king of Israel, saying,
Thus saith the Lord,
Hast thou seen all this great multitude?
behold, I will deliver it into thine hand this day;
and thou shalt know that I am the Lord.
1 Kings 20:14-16
King James Version
14 And Ahab said, By whom?
And he said, Thus saith the Lord,
Even by the young men
of the princes of the provinces.
Then he said, Who shall order the battle?
And he answered, Thou.
15 Then he numbered the young men
of the princes of the provinces,
and they were two hundred and thirty two:
and after them he numbered all the people,
even all the children of Israel,
being seven thousand.
16 And they went out at noon.
But Benhadad was drinking himself drunk
in the pavilions, he and the kings,
the thirty and two kings that helped him.
1 Kings 20:17-18
King James Version
17 And the young men
of the princes of the provinces went out first;
and Benhadad sent out, and they told him, saying,
There are men come out of Samaria.
18 And he said,
Whether they be come out for peace,
take them alive;
or whether they be come out for war,
take them alive.
1 Kings 20:19-21
King James Version
19 So these young men
of the princes of the provinces came out of the city,
and the army which followed them.
20 And they slew every one his man:
and the Syrians fled; and Israel pursued them:
and Benhadad the king of Syria escaped
on an horse with the horsemen.
21 And the king of Israel went out,
and smote the horses and chariots,
and slew the Syrians with a great slaughter.
1 Kings 20:22
King James Version
22 And the prophet came to the king of Israel,
and said unto him, Go, strengthen thyself,
and mark, and see what thou doest:
for at the return of the year
the king of Syria will come up against thee.
1 Kings 20:23-25
King James Version
23 And the servants of the king of Syria
said unto him,
Their gods are gods of the hills;
therefore they were stronger than we;
but let us fight against them in the plain,
and surely we shall be stronger than they.
24 And do this thing, Take the kings away,
every man out of his place,
and put captains in their rooms:
25 And number thee an army,
like the army that thou hast lost,
horse for horse, and chariot for chariot:
and we will fight against them in the plain,
and surely we shall be stronger than they.
And he hearkened unto their voice, and did so.
1 Kings 20:26-27
King James Version
26 And it came to pass at the return of the year,
that Benhadad numbered the Syrians,
and went up to Aphek, to fight against Israel.
27 And the children of Israel were numbered,
and were all present, and went against them:
and the children of Israel pitched before them
like two little flocks of kids;
but the Syrians filled the country.
1 Kings 20:28
King James Version
28 And there came a man of God,
and spake unto the king of Israel, and said,
Thus saith the Lord,
Because the Syrians have said,
The Lord is God of the hills,
but he is not God of the valleys,
therefore will I deliver all this great multitude
into thine hand,
and ye shall know that I am the Lord.
1 Kings 20:29
King James Version
29 And they pitched
one over against the other
seven days.
And so it was, that in the seventh day
the battle was joined:
and the children of Israel slew of the Syrians
an hundred thousand footmen in one day.
1 Kings 20:30-31
King James Version
30 But the rest fled to Aphek, into the city;
and there a wall fell upon twenty
and seven thousand of the men that were left.
And Benhadad fled, and came into the city,
into an inner chamber.
31 And his servants said unto him,
Behold now, we have heard
that the kings of the house of Israel
are merciful kings:
let us, I pray thee,
put sackcloth on our loins,
and ropes upon our heads,
and go out to the king of Israel:
peradventure he will save thy life.
1 Kings 20:32-33
King James Version
32 So they girded sackcloth on their loins,
and put ropes on their heads,
and came to the king of Israel, and said,
Thy servant Benhadad saith,
I pray thee, let me live.
And he said, Is he yet alive? he is my brother.
33 Now the men did diligently observe
whether any thing would come from him,
and did hastily catch it: and they said,
Thy brother Benhadad.
Then he said, Go ye, bring him.
Then Benhadad came forth to him;
and he caused him to come up
into the chariot.
1 Kings 20:34
King James Version
34 And Ben-hadad said unto him,
The cities,
which my father took from thy father,
I will restore;
and thou shalt make streets for thee in Damascus,
as my father made in Samaria.
Then said Ahab,
I will send thee away with this covenant.
So he made a covenant with him,
and sent him away.
1 Kings 20:35-36
King James Version
35 And a certain man of the sons of the prophets
said unto his neighbour in the word of the Lord,
Smite me, I pray thee.
And the man refused to smite him.
36 Then said he unto him,
Because thou hast not obeyed the voice of the Lord,
behold, as soon as thou art departed from me,
a lion shall slay thee.
And as soon as he was departed from him,
a lion found him, and slew him.
1 Kings 20:37-38
King James Version
37 Then he found another man, and said,
Smite me, I pray thee.
And the man smote him,
so that in smiting he wounded him.
38 So the prophet departed,
and waited for the king by the way,
and disguised himself with ashes upon his face.
1 Kings 20:39-40
King James Version
39 And as the king passed by,
he cried unto the king: and he said,
Thy servant went out into the midst of the battle;
and, behold, a man turned aside,
and brought a man unto me, and said,
Keep this man:
if by any means he be missing,
then shall thy life be for his life,
or else thou shalt pay a talent of silver.
40 And as thy servant was busy here and there,
he was gone.
And the king of Israel said unto him,
So shall thy judgment be;
thyself hast decided it.
1 Kings 20:41-43
King James Version
41 And he hasted,
and took the ashes away from his face;
and the king of Israel discerned him
that he was of the prophets.
42 And he said unto him,
Thus saith the Lord,
Because thou hast let go out of thy hand
a man whom I appointed to utter destruction,
therefore thy life shall go for his life,
and thy people for his people.
43 And the king of Israel went to his house
heavy and displeased, and came to Samaria.
Judea and Samaria belong to Israel.
It is GOD's land.
His Son, JESUS, is PRIEST from JUDA.
Hebrews 4:14
King James Version
14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest,
that is passed into the heavens,
Jesus the Son of God,
let us hold fast our profession.
Hebrews 7:13-14
King James Version
13 For he of whom these things are spoken
pertaineth to another tribe,
of which no man gave attendance at the altar.
14 For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda;
of which tribe Moses spake nothing
concerning priesthood.
Hebrews 3:1-3
King James Version
3 Wherefore, holy brethren,
partakers of the heavenly calling,
consider the Apostle and High Priest
of our profession, Christ Jesus;
2 Who was faithful to him that appointed him,
as also Moses was faithful in all his house.
3 For this man was counted worthy
of more glory than Moses,
inasmuch as he who hath builded the house
hath more honour than the house.
Hebrews 8:1-2
King James Version
8 Now of the things which we have spoken
this is the sum:
We have such an high priest,
who is set on the right hand
of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;
2 A minister of the sanctuary,
and of the true tabernacle,
which the Lord pitched,
and not man.
Bottomline?
Israel's land must not be divided.
Judea and Samaria belong to her.
For it belongs to GOD.
And if there's so much trouble about it today, you know who's responsible.
Satan doesn't want you to remember JESUS was born in Bethlehem of Judea.
He doesn't want you to know about the LORD's ministry in Judea, Samaria, and Galilee.
Neither does the enemy want you to know east Jerusalem is Judea and Samaria.
Now you know why Bethlehem and Jerusalem are hotly-contested for by Israel's enemies.
JESUS did remind us:
John 8:47
King James Version
47 He that is of God heareth God's words:
ye therefore hear them not,
because ye are not of God.
These are the sites important to GOD, and to the LORD JESUS, for the Son was born in Bethlehem, and He will return to Jerusalem.
Zechariah 8:3
King James Version
3 Thus saith the Lord;
I am returned unto Zion,
and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem:
and Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth;
and the mountain of the Lord of hosts
the holy mountain.
Know the importance of Jerusalem in prophecy:
On "The Eastern Gate in Prophecy"
Zechariah 14:1-9
King James Version
14 Behold, the day of the Lord cometh,
and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.
2 For I will gather
all nations against Jerusalem to battle;
and the city shall be taken,
and the houses rifled,
and the women ravished;
and half of the city shall go forth into captivity,
and the residue of the people
shall not be cut off from the city.
3 Then shall the Lord go forth,
and fight against those nations,
as when he fought in the day of battle.
4 And his feet shall stand in that day
upon the mount of Olives,
which is before Jerusalem on the east,
and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst
thereof toward the east and toward the west,
and there shall be a very great valley;
and half of the mountain
shall remove toward the north,
and half of it toward the south.
5 And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains;
for the valley of the mountains
shall reach unto Azal:
yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before
the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah:
and the Lord my God shall come,
and all the saints with thee.
6 And it shall come to pass in that day,
that the light shall not be clear, nor dark:
7 But it shall be one day
which shall be known to the Lord,
not day, nor night:
but it shall come to pass,
that at evening time it shall be light.
8 And it shall be in that day,
that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem;
half of them toward the former sea,
and half of them toward the hinder sea:
in summer and in winter shall it be.
9 And the Lord shall be king over all the earth:
in that day shall there be one Lord,
and his name one.
CHRIST's enemy has always been a liar, a thief, and a usurper.
And he works darkly in people who wish Israel destroyed.
As well as those who deny Israel her Judea, and Samaria.
And want Bethlehem, and Jerusalem for themselves.
I say, they are deluded.
The HOLY SPIRIT will have none of that nonsense.
JESUS declared that very thing, before He went back to the FATHER:
John 16:7-12
King James Version
7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth;
It is expedient for you that I go away:
for if I go not away,
the Comforter will not come unto you;
but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
8 And when he is come,
he will reprove the world of sin,
and of righteousness,
and of judgment:
9 Of sin, because they believe not on me;
10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father,
and ye see me no more;
11 Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.
12 I have yet many things to say unto you,
but ye cannot bear them now.
