Sins against JESUS

 JESUS declared:

Matthew 11:16-17

King James Version

16 But whereunto shall I liken this generation? 

It is like unto children sitting in the markets, 

and calling unto their fellows,

17 And saying, 

We have piped unto you, and ye have not danced; 

we have mourned unto you, and ye have not lamented.

How has man treated the LORD JESUS?

How have we sinned against the LORD?

They sought to stone Him, when He challenged their laws.

And because of that, they crucified Him.

They hated Him, and hounded Him.

They "tripped" Him, every chance they could get.

Fueled by Satan, they failed.

They could only mock the LORD's ways.

In JESUS' own words:

Matthew 11:19

King James Version

19 The Son of man came eating and drinking, 

and they say, 

Behold a man gluttonous, 

and a winebibber, 

a friend of publicans and sinners. 

But wisdom is justified of her children.

Neither did they believe a word He says.

Their proud hearts questioning his ways.

That's why JESUS declared:

John 8:44-45

44 Ye are of your father the devil, 

and the lusts of your father ye will do. 

He was a murderer from the beginning, 

and abode not in the truth, 

because there is no truth in him. 

When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: 

for he is a liar, and the father of it.

45 And because I tell you the truth, 

ye believe me not.

Worse, they accused Him of having an "unclean spirit".

To which, the LORD replied:

Mark 3:28-30

King James Version

28 Verily I say unto you, 

All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, 

and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme:

29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost 

hath never forgiveness, 

but is in danger of eternal damnation.

30 Because they said, 

He hath an unclean spirit.

By that act alone, we have committed the "UNFORGIVABLE sin".

Man is ungrateful.

Truly, a thankless generation.

Always receiving, but never thanking.

Worse, forever forgetting.

Never looking back at the blessings.

Never realizing Who had visited, and healed them.

Never acknowledging the GOD of ALL blessings.

JESUS pointed out how people really are.

Even in Nazareth, His home town, He was not appreciated.

Matthew 13:54-56

54 And when he was come into his own country, 

he taught them in their synagogue, 

insomuch that they were astonished, and said, 

Whence hath this man this wisdom, 

and these mighty works?

55 Is not this the carpenter's son? 

is not his mother called Mary? 

and his brethren, James, and Joses, 

and Simon, and Judas?

56 And his sisters, are they not all with us? 

Whence then hath this man all these things?

Making JESUS lament:

Matthew 13:57

57 And they were offended in him. 

But Jesus said unto them, 

A prophet is not without honour, 

save in his own country, 

and in his own house.

But it became the town's loss.

Matthew 13:58

58 And he did not many mighty works there 

because of their unbelief.

Despite the many miracles, man continued to sin:

Matthew 11:20

20 Then began he to upbraid the cities 

wherein most of his mighty works were done, 

because they repented not:

Note the cities where "most of his mighty works were done".

A couple were Chorazin, and Bethsaida:

Matthew 11:21-22

King James Version

21 Woe unto thee, Chorazin! 

woe unto thee, Bethsaida! 

for if the mighty works, which were done in you, 

had been done in Tyre and Sidon, 

they would have repented long ago 

in sackcloth and ashes.

22 But I say unto you, 

It shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon 

at the day of judgment, than for you.

Another was Capernaum:

Matthew 11:23-24

23 And thou, Capernaum, 

which art exalted unto heaven, 

shalt be brought down to hell: 

for if the mighty works, 

which have been done in thee, 

had been done in Sodom, 

it would have remained until this day.

24 But I say unto you, 

That it shall be more tolerable 

for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, 

than for thee.

It is only by Satan's work that the people of these cities remained wicked, ungrateful, and ignorant.

Not knowing, nor realizing, Who had visited them.

Not knowing that HEAVEN had been upon them.

We are all in great error.

When we don't acknowledge the Sonship of JESUS.

When we don't want to be born again.

When we don't love GOD.

When we don't follow His commandments.

When we don't repent, and believe the gospel.

We have no idea our sins against GOD.

This, we must take to heart:

"Whatever you lose, 

lose not Christ."

The Day and Its Disclosures 

We are in the end times.

It's all preparation now.

The prophecies have been given.

The warnings have been given.

The Rapture is imminent.

How many will care to listen?

We do not have the luxury of time.

JESUS will judge us one day.

We must be "spotless".

1 Thessalonians 5:23

23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; 

and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body 

be preserved blameless 

unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Like the spotless Lamb JESUS is.

Isaiah 53:7-10

7 He was oppressed, 

and he was afflicted, 

yet he opened not his mouth: 

he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, 

and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, 

so he openeth not his mouth.

8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: 

and who shall declare his generation? 

for he was cut off out of the land of the living: 

for the transgression of my people was he stricken.

9 And he made his grave with the wicked, 

and with the rich in his death; 

because he had done no violence, 

neither was any deceit in his mouth.

10 Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; 

he hath put him to grief: 

when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, 

he shall see his seed, 

he shall prolong his days, 

and the pleasure of the Lord

The LORD deserves ALL the LOVE and HONOR due Him.

Something man has not done so.

Except for a few faithful.

Before anyone tries to "stone" the LORD again, remember these --

He is the CHIEF corner STONE.

Ephesians 2:19-20

and of the household of God;

20 And are built upon the foundation 

of the apostles and prophets, 

Jesus Christ himself being

He is the ROCK.

He is our SALVATION.

1 Timothy 4:1-2

4 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, 

that in the latter times 

some shall depart from the faith, 

giving heed to seducing spirits, 

and doctrines of devils;

2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; 

having their conscience seared 

with a hot iron;

A new game's in town.

Satan's intentions, are man's inventions.

Unless we are born again, we may not be aware.

First, it was the ouija board.

Also called a "spirit board".

A "talking board".

Or a "witch board".

Today, there's the  "holy spirit board".

In a Tom Hughes video, I got alerted to that game.

This new board game is a total affront on the SPIRIT of GOD.

It is an "in-Your-face" attack by CHRIST's enemy against SPIRIT.

Speaking of pure evil.

A direct attack upon GOD.

What a seemingly-innocent board game can do.

In mockery of all that JESUS, and SPIRIT, stand for.

BEWARE this game, or any such like it.

Wherein you ask "spirits" for answers.

Whoever buys that game, or plays it, is in danger of hell.

Scripture speaks of the "UNFORGIVABLE sin".

JESUS tells us what that sin is.

Matthew 12:31-32

King James Version

31 Wherefore I say unto you, 

All manner of sin and blasphemy 

shall be forgiven unto men: 

but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost 

shall not be forgiven unto men.

32 And whosoever speaketh a word 

against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: 

but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, 

it shall not be forgiven him, 

neither in this world, 

neither in the world to come.

That's how serious the affront upon the SPIRIT of GOD is.

A born again goes directly to JESUS, through prayer.

We don't need a board game to do so.

We don't need to consult other spirits.

We go directly to GOD.

JESUS gave us the BEST Guide, and Teacher:

John 14:26

26 But the Comforter, 

which is the Holy Ghost, 

whom the Father will send in my name, 

he shall teach you all things, 

and bring all things to your remembrance, 

whatsoever I have said unto you.

John 15:26

26 But when the Comforter is come, 

whom I will send unto you from the Father, 

even the Spirit of truth, 

which proceedeth from the Father, 

he shall testify of me:

John 16:7

7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; 

It is expedient for you that I go away: 

for if I go not away, the Comforter 

will not come unto you; 

but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

More so, JESUS tells us the function of the HOLY SPIRIT:

John 16:8-11

8 And when he is come, 

he will reprove the world of sin, 

and of righteousness, and of judgment:

9 Of sin, because they believe not on me;

10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, 

and ye see me no more;

11 Of judgment, because the prince of this world 

is judged.

13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, 

he will guide you into all truth: 

for he shall not speak of himself; 

but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: 

and he will shew you things to come.

John 16:14-15

14 He shall glorify me: 

for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

15 All things that the Father hath are mine: 

therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, 

nd shall shew it unto you.

The apostles received the HOLY SPIRIT when JESUS was taken up to heaven.

We receive the HOLY SPIRIT, when GOD makes us born again.

And one day, the HOLY SPIRIT will be "taken away" by GOD.

And that's when all hell will really break loose.

As it is, the HOLY SPIRIT is the "Restrainer".

2 Thessalonians 2:7

King James Version

7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: 

only he who now letteth will let, 

until he be taken out of the way.

At this moment, through GOD's GRACE, we are saved from such.

And now, this abominable board game?

People have no idea what they're messing with.

May we all wake up, in time.

Mark 1:15

15 And saying, 

The time is fulfilled, 

and the kingdom of God is at hand: 

repent ye, 

and believe the gospel.

Acts 3:19

19 Repent ye therefore, 

and be converted, 

that your sins may be blotted out, 

when the times of refreshing shall come 

from the presence of the Lord.

Revelation 21:7-8

7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things;

8 But the fearful, and unbelieving,

and whoremongers, and sorcerers,

The real game is actually "deception".

That holy spirit board game misleads, and deceives.

JESUS warned us of those who will deceive us, in these end times:

Matthew 24:4-5

4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, 

Take heed that no man deceive you.

5 For many shall come in my name, 

saying, I am Christ; 

and shall deceive many.

Matthew 24:11

11 And many false prophets shall rise, 

and shall deceive many.

Matthew 24:23-24

23 Then if any man shall say unto you, 

Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

24 For there shall arise false Christs, 

and false prophets, 

and shall shew great signs and wonders; 

insomuch that, if it were possible, 

they shall deceive the very elect.

You can expect the enemy will up the game, to the max.

For this reason:

Revelation 12:12

12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, 

and ye that dwell in them. 

Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! 

or the devil is come down unto you, 

having great wrath, because he knoweth 

that he hath but a short time.

God is not mocked: 

for whatsoever a man soweth, 

that shall he also reap.

Quench NOT the HOLY SPIRIT

 

Hebrews 12:28-29

King James Version

28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom 

which cannot be moved, 

let us have grace, 

whereby we may serve God acceptably 

with reverence and godly fear:

29 For our God is a consuming fire.

Is the Holy Spirit working powerfully in  you?

How do you know He is?

Are you giving Him free reign?

If God is a "consuming fire", can you imagine how His Spirit will work within you, once you are His?

So, why do people try to quench the Spirit?

How do they quench the Spirit?

To what end?

For what purpose?

For what evil intention?

Is it at all possible to quench the FIRE of GOD?

First, let's understand what "quench" means:

Merriam-Webster defines it this way:

-- PUT OUT, EXTINGUISH

-- to put out the light or fire of

-- to cool (something, such as heated metal) suddenly by immersion (as in oil or water)

-- to cause to lose heat or warmth

-- to bring (something immaterial) to an end typically by satisfying, damping, cooling, or decreasing

-- to terminate by or as if by destroying : ELIMINATE

The Holy Spirit is a GIFT from GOD.

Once you have experienced the Holy Spirit in you -- as a born again --you will not want to EVER fall out of GRACE.

Once you have been anointed by the Holy Spirit of God, you will be taught everything about Jesus.

Everything you think, speak, and do, will be for the GLORY of GOD.

The Spirit of Christ will live in you each moment, for He does the anointing, as revealed by John the Baptist here:

Luke 3:16-17

King James Version

16 John answered, 

saying unto them all, 

I indeed baptize you with water; 

but one mightier than I cometh, 

the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: 

he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire:

17 Whose fan is in his hand, 

and he will throughly purge his floor, 

and will gather the wheat into his garner; 

but the chaff he will burn with fire unquenchable.

How can we even think of quenching that fire from Jesus, for whom heaven, and earth were created?

From what corrupted, deluded part of ourselves do we challenge the might, power, and glory of the LORD?

Colossians 1:16

16 For by him were all things created, 

that are in heaven, 

and that are in earth, 

visible and invisible, 

whether they be thrones, 

or dominions, 

or principalities, 

or powers: 

all things were created by him, and for him:

But how does one quench the FIRE of the Holy Spirit?

Let's review these verses, for starters:

1 Thessalonians 5:17-22

King James Version

17 Pray without ceasing.

18 In every thing give thanks: 

for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

19 Quench not the Spirit.

20 Despise not prophesyings.

21 Prove all things; 

hold fast that which is good.

22 Abstain from all appearance of evil.

Taking it a verse at a time, from above, let's consider the opposite:

1. We cease to pray.

2. We forget to thank God.

3. We stifle the Spirit.

4. We despise prophesyings.

5. We disprove all things God.

6. We continue to do evil.

Also pay attention to the material on sin.

If we do all that, how can the Holy Spirit of God continue to teach us about Jesus?

We would have snuffed the Spirit from our hearts, for Jesus is the Way, the Truth, the Life, and the Light.

John 14:6

King James Version

6 Jesus saith unto him, 

I am the way, 

the truth, 

and the life: 

no man cometh unto the Father, 

but by me.

John 12:46

King James Version

46 I am come a light into the world, 

that whosoever believeth on me 

should not abide in darkness.

There is the UNFORGIVABLE sin against the Holy Spirit, which we must pay attention to.

Those are the ways we quench, eliminate, stifle, and extinguish the Spirit of God in us.

If you knew how long it takes to be anointed by God, you will consider the anointing sacred, and guard it with care.

It only takes long, for God waits for our complete surrender.

Only then can He send His Holy Spirit to start teaching us about Jesus.

If we fall from grace, all is lost.

We would have fallen into darkness.

Financial loss in the world, can be recouped.

But the loss of grace, from the Holy Spirit, from the love of God, is a deep darkening of the soul.

After you've experienced the LIGHT of CHRIST, would you still want to return to darkness?

When you have found the Living Water and Bread of Life, you will not want to be fed anything else.

Doesn't make sense.

That's why I take great care about this anointing from Jesus.

I could easily be ambushed, or distracted.

The unseen enemy forever waits in ambush.

Ephesians 6:12

King James Version

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, 

but against principalities, 

against powers, 

against the rulers of the darkness of this world, 

against spiritual wickedness in high places.

I take great care this gift given me by God.

Born agains are favorite targets of the enemy.

But we have the seal of God.

Precisely why we are not to grieve the Holy Spirit.

Ephesians 4:30

King James Version

30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, 

whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

We must be awake, and aware at all times.

We must guard our soul from distraction, division, and despair.

We must lead others to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

We must focus SOLELY on God.

Colossians 3:1-2

King James Version

3 If ye then be risen with Christ, 

seek those things which are above, 

where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

2 Set your affection on things above, 

not on things on the earth.

We are to walk in the Spirit, in love, and gratitude, for the LORD of ALL.

We are to be "blameless", for when the LORD JESUS returns.

Only the Holy Spirit of God can purify our hearts, souls, minds, and bodies.

1 Thessalonians 5:23

And we have ABSOLUTELY no desire the quench the MAGNIFICENT FIRE of GOD.

The UNFORGIVABLE Sin

 

John 4:24 

King James Version

24 God is a Spirit: 

and they that worship him 

must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Ever heard of an "unforgivable sin"?

The Holy Spirit of God led me to an amazing statement from Jesus about one such unforgivable sin:

Matthew 12:31-32 (KJV)

31 Wherefore I say unto you, 

All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: 

but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost 

shall not be forgiven unto men.

32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, 

it shall be forgiven him: 

but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, 

it shall not be forgiven him, 

neither in this world, 

neither in the world to come.

Has that left an impact upon you yet?

It should, for we all must revere the Holy Spirit of God.

Back in November 2020, when I was first led by the Spirit to that verse, it already left a deep impact in me.

Now that I review Jesus' admonition again, and I look at the verses supporting that, I am convinced it is because of this particular verse:

Romans 8:11 (KJV)

11 But if the Spirit of him 

that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, 

he that raised up Christ from the dead 

shall also quicken your mortal bodies 

by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

God can raise His beloved Son from the dead.

Acts 2:22-24 (KJV)

22 Ye men of Israel, 

hear these words; 

Jesus of Nazareth, 

a man approved of God among you 

by miracles and wonders and signs, 

which God did by him in the midst of you, 

as ye yourselves also know:

23 Him, 

being delivered by the determinate counsel 

and foreknowledge of God, 

ye have taken, 

and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:

24 Whom God hath raised up, 

having loosed the pains of death: 

because it was not possible 

that he should be holden of it.

Acts 2:30-33 (KJV)

30 Therefore being a prophet, 

and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, 

that of the fruit of his loins, 

according to the flesh, 

he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;

31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, 

that his soul was not left in hell, 

neither his flesh did see corruption.

32 This Jesus hath God raised up, 

whereof we all are witnesses.

33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, 

and having received of the Father 

the promise of the Holy Ghost, 

he hath shed forth this, 

which ye now see and hear.

Why, then, would we blaspheme the very SPIRIT that raised our LORD JESUS on the third day?

Considering the fact, the LORD JESUS promised us the same resurrection:

John 5:28-29 (KJV)

28 Marvel not at this: 

for the hour is coming, 

in the which all that are in the graves 

shall hear his voice,

29 And shall come forth; 

they that have done good, 

unto the resurrection of life; 

and they that have done evil, 

unto the resurrection of damnation.

It doesn't make sense for us to sabotage our own chances to be with the Lord forever.

It would take an evil spirit to do so.

A very evil, and jealous spirit.
