What Does REPROOF Mean?

Jesus on the HOLY SPIRIT:

John 16:8

King James Version

8 And when he is come,

he will reprove the world of sin,

and of righteousness,

and of judgment:

Reproof has the following meanings:

Rebuke.

Censure.

Admonishment.

Correction.

Reprimand.

For me to be able to write about the Holy Spirit's reproof, you can imagine the reproof I got myself.

I, first, had to be corrected wholly by the Holy Spirit.

For I must be true to the WORD.

You can imagine the censure that went on.

But God is merciful.

Ephesians 2:4-5 (KJV)

4 But God,

who is rich in mercy,

for his great love wherewith he loved us,

5 Even when we were dead in sins,

hath quickened us together with Christ,

(by grace ye are saved;)

If your heart is true, if you really desire to know God, if you really wish to have a change in your life, then God will surely show you who He is, how He is, and what you must do.

Through His Holy Spirit, you will know about Jesus, who showed us the way back to God.

The Messiah's only desire was to obey the Father.

As we must, too.

If we desire eternal life with Him.

All reproof from God must be accepted with humility, and gratitude.

For it is God's way of showing He loves us.

By wanting us with Him -- forever.

Jesus will show the way.

God always answers us.

Whether we be just, or unjust.

Matthew 5:45 (KJV)

45 That ye may be the children of your Father

which is in heaven:

for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good,

and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
