"CALL OUT THE ERRORS"

The LORD JESUS said:

Luke 16:15

King James Version

15 And he said unto them

Ye are they which justify yourselves before men;

but God knoweth your hearts:

for that which is highly esteemed among men

is abomination in the sight of God.

It was very clear what the Holy Spirit of God imprinted upon my mind the other morning.

"CALL OUT THE ERRORS"

As a student of Spirit, I was tasked to point out errors in man's ways -- based on Scripture -- and how we can get right with God.

Thus, this blog, the series on sin, the 22 books on spiritual warfare.

Scripture is precise, and here's what I found:

It is important to know GOD's WORD.

It is important to believe in JESUS.

It is important to become BORN AGAIN.

It is important to CONFESS, and REPENT.

It is important to be sealed by the HOLY SPIRIT.

It is important to acknowledge the urgency of the times.

It is important to give ALL GLORY to GOD.

It is important to LOVE GOD.

It is important to LOVE each other.

The urgency is great.

For the RAPTURE can happen any moment.

Would we be ready then?

Do we have a desire to be with JESUS?

Do we care to have DEEP KNOWLEDGE about GOD?

Have we even thanked GOD?

Do we care to help each other be with Jesus?

Or are we going to believe everything's okay.

And resent intrusion in our daily activities?

Which serve self, and world -- never God.

Even making mockery of God's warnings, asking:

"Where are the end times you speak of?"

I hope you don't.

We are in the season of the end times now.

Watch, worship God.

Pray.

Become born again.

And all will be made clear.

On Revenge

Hebrews 1:8

King James Version

8 But unto the Son he saith,

Thy throne, O God,

is for ever and ever:

a sceptre of righteousness

is the sceptre of thy kingdom.

Has someone wronged you?

How have they wronged you?

Are you having thoughts of revenge?

One of the most difficult things to do, is to forgive, and not to take revenge, on those who have harmed you, or the people you care for.

How does one stifle the impulse to take revenge?

What must we do?

This is what Scripture says:

Romans 12:19 (KJV)

19 Dearly beloved,

avenge not yourselves,

but rather give place unto wrath:

for it is written,

Vengeance is mine;

I will repay,

saith the Lord.

A good example is the prayer of the besieged Hezekiah, the 13th king of Judah.

He appealed to the Lord:

2 Kings 19:15-19 (KJV)

15 And Hezekiah prayed before the Lord, and said,

O Lord God of Israel,

which dwellest between the cherubims

thou art the God,

even thou alone,

of all the kingdoms of the earth;

thou hast made heaven and earth.

16 Lord, bow down thine ear,

and hear: open,

Lord, thine eyes,

and see:

and hear the words of Sennacherib,

which hath sent him to reproach the living God.

17 Of a truth, Lord,

the kings of Assyria have destroyed

the nations and their lands,

18 And have cast their gods into the fire:

for they were no gods,

but the work of men's hands,

wood and stone:

therefore they have destroyed them.

19 Now therefore,

O Lord our God,

I beseech thee,

save thou us out of his hand,

that all the kingdoms of the earth

may know that thou art the Lord God,

even thou only.

And God answers, through His prophet Isaiah:

2 Kings 19:20 (KJV)

20 Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent to Hezekiah, saying,

Thus saith the Lord God of Israel,

That which thou hast prayed to me

against Sennacherib king of Assyria I have heard.

First, God secures His remnant from Judah:

2 Kings 19:30-31 (KJV)

30 And the remnant that is escaped of the house of Judah

shall yet again take root downward,

and bear fruit upward.

31 For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant,

and they that escape out of mount Zion:

the zeal of the Lord of hosts shall do this.

Then makes a statement to Sennacherib, king of Assyria, who blasphemed the Lord:

2 Kings 19:28 (KJV)

28 Because thy rage against me and thy tumult

is come up into mine ears,

therefore I will put my hook in thy nose,

and my bridle in thy lips,

and I will turn thee back by the way by which thou camest.

Brace yourself for how God answered, with regards to Hezekiah's plea against the king of Assyria:

2 Kings 19:32-35 (KJV)

32 Therefore thus saith the Lord

concerning the king of Assyria,

He shall not come into this city,

nor shoot an arrow there,

nor come before it with shield,

nor cast a bank against it.

33 By the way that he came,

by the same shall he return,

and shall not come into this city,

saith the Lord.

34 For I will defend this city,

to save it,

for mine own sake,

and for my servant David's sake.

35 And it came to pass that night,

that the angel of the Lord went out,

and smote in the camp of the Assyrians

an hundred fourscore and five thousand:

and when they arose early in the morning,

behold, they were all dead corpses.

One angel; 185,000 slain.

And that's not all.

Observe how God punished Sennacherib from within:

2 Kings 19:36-37 (KJV)

36 So Sennacherib king of Assyria departed,

and went and returned,

and dwelt at Nineveh.

37 And it came to pass,

as he was worshipping in the house of Nisroch his god,

that Adrammelech and Sharezer his sons

smote him with the sword:

and they escaped into the land of Armenia.

And Esarhaddon his son reigned in his stead.

If you think God is sleeping, you're wrong.

If you think God doesn't see, nor hear, you're wrong.

If you think God hasn't heard your prayer, you're wrong.

If you think God will not avenge His faithful, you're wrong.

But who are we to take other people's lives upon our hands?

Jesus has a law against that.

He spoke of this, the day they seized Him, prior to the cross:

Matthew 26:51-52 (KJV)

51 And, behold,

one of them which were with Jesus stretched out his hand,

and drew his sword,

and struck a servant of the high priest's,

and smote off his ear.

52 Then said Jesus unto him,

Put up again thy sword into his place:

for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.

Then Jesus spoke of His power.

Matthew 26:53-54 (KJV)

53 Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father,

and he shall presently give me

more than twelve legions of angels?

54 But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled,

that thus it must be?

Did you take note of what we wrote earlier?

Of one angel, smiting 185,000 men in one night?

Well, Jesus spoke of more than 12 legions* of angels, at His bidding, if He really wanted to escape the cross.

And yet, He didn't use His Father's power to save Himself.

He left everything up to God.

In complete obedience to the will of the Father.

And in fulfillment of Scripture.

He took on the sins of the world -- a man who knew no sin.

He knew this world belonged to the enemy.

Who was defeated by the LORD at the cross.

Hebrews 2:14 (KJV)

14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood,

he also himself likewise took part of the same;

that through death he might destroy him

that had the power of death,

that is, the devil;

Let us not rely on our fallible judgment.

All judgment belong to the Lord.

Romans 2:16 (KJV)

16 In the day when God shall judge

the secrets of men by Jesus Christ

according to my gospel.

Matthew 25:32 (KJV)

32 And before him shall be gathered all nations:

and he shall separate them one from another,

as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:

God's time will come.

Possibly sooner than soon.

Set your heart right with the Lord right now.

And believe He fights for His faithful.

Exodus 14:14 (KJV)

14 The Lord shall fight for you,

and ye shall hold your peace.

*NOTE: Are you curious how many soldiers are in a legion? This report says between 4,000 to 6,000 soldiers.

That means, Jesus could EASILY and IMMEDIATELY have prayed to the Father to send Him MORE than 12 legions of angels -- or between 48,000 to 72, 000 angels -- MINIMUM.

Now, an angel can easily slay 185,000 men.

How many can 72,000 angels slay, at Jesus' bidding?

My calculator gave up.

What can one man do?

We are past foolishness.

Why not leave judgment to the LORD?

On CONTENTMENT

Hebrews 13:5

King James Version

5 Let your conversation be without covetousness;

and be content with such things as ye have:

for he hath said,

I will never leave thee,

nor forsake thee.

God knows what you need.

Scripture testifies of it.

Matthew 6:31-32 (KJV)

31 Therefore take no thought, saying,

What shall we eat? or,

What shall we drink? or,

Wherewithal shall we be clothed?

32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:)

for your heavenly Father knoweth

that ye have need of all these things.

He doesn't want you going crazy over self, what others have (and you may not have), or on possessions.

For possessions will possess you.

Self-absorption, envy, and greed will defile you.

And you lose sight of God.

You will have sold your soul to the devil, to acquire what you think you need.

Just so you can meet the world's standards.

Until you find yourself so far away from God, it will take God's grace to get you back.

For the devil will tempt you, non-stop, creating new enticement each time.

It's the oldest game.

Has just taken many forms.

Why do we keep falling for it?

Are all these possessions worth the separation from God?

Consider acquisition as a form of addiction.

A mouth that can never be fed enough.

It's a crocodile farm in itself.

Listen to what one man asked of Jesus:

Luke 12:13 (KJV)

13 And one of the company said unto him,

Master,

speak to my brother,

that he divide the inheritance with me.

Have we gone that low?

That we ask the Son of God -- the KING of KINGS and LORD of LORDS -- to intercede in our behalf, over earthly possessions, when it's these very things He asks us not to possess?

Have we gone mad?

May this not be our prayer when we ask God for something.

Of course, the Lord Jesus made a defining statement:

Luke 12:14-15 (KJV)

14 And he said unto him,

Man,

who made me a judge or a divider over you?

15 And he said unto them,

Take heed,

and beware of covetousness:

for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance

of the things which he possesseth.

Covetousness is idolatry.

Colossians 3:5 (KJV)

5 Mortify therefore your members

which are upon the earth

fornication,

uncleanness,

inordinate affection,

evil concupiscence,

and covetousness,

which is idolatry:

How God hates idolatry!

So much so, it is His FIRST commandment.

Which man keeps breaking.

Exodus 20:3 (KJV)

3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

The kingdom of God has no room for idolaters and covetous people.

You know what people do when they covet something.

They lie, steal, murder, or sell their soul.

Such will not be allowed in the new city of God, the new Jerusalem.

Revelation 22:14-15 (KJV)

14 Blessed are they that do his commandments,

that they may have right to the tree of life,

and may enter in through the gates into the city.

15 For without are dogs,

and sorcerers,

and whoremongers,

and murderers,

and idolaters,

and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

We must be content with what we have.

Where we're all going, we won't need anything.

But GOD.

We must constantly pray, for what God's will is for us.

Only God knows what we need.

Let's not rely on what the world feeds us.

We will be bombarded with useless, godless things.

We will give in to greed, jealousy, vanity.

All poison for the soul.

How can we doubt that God provides, and has provided?

True believers in Jesus, true born agains, have no need for worldly things that weigh down the soul.

If anything, these are impediments to praise.

We worship God alone.

We do not worship things of the world.

We have faith in God's promises.

Our TOTAL focus is on GOD.

On doing His will.

What we need, God provides.

Listen to what Jesus said:

Luke 12:22-34 (KJV)

22 And he said unto his disciples,

Therefore I say unto you,

Take no thought for your life,

what ye shall eat;

neither for the body,

what ye shall put on.

23 The life is more than meat,

and the body is more than raiment.

24 Consider the ravens:

for they neither sow nor reap;

which neither have storehouse nor barn;

and God feedeth them:

how much more are ye better than the fowls?

25 And which of you with taking thought

can add to his stature one cubit?

26 If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least,

why take ye thought for the rest?

27 Consider the lilies how they grow:

they toil not,

they spin not;

and yet I say unto you,

that Solomon in all his glory

was not arrayed like one of these.

28 If then God so clothe the grass,

which is to day in the field,

and to morrow is cast into the oven;

how much more will he clothe you,

O ye of little faith?

Trust in the perfection of God.

Believe in His Son, Jesus.

Listen to the Holy Spirit.

And remember these verses, every time you feel poor, forgotten, dejected, defeated, doubtful, or lost:

Luke 12:30-31 (KJV)

30 For all these things do the nations of the world seek after:

and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.

31 But rather seek ye the kingdom of God;

and all these things shall be added unto you.

When you are born again, the LORD is all that matters.

When you're not, expect all kinds of enticements.

Which are not of God.

Being born again brings contentment.

I assure you of that, beyond any maximum percentages.

For the Lord's GRACE cannot be measured.

PROPHETS are NOT Smooth Talkers

2 Timothy 4:2

King James Version

2 Preach the word;

be instant in season, out of season;

reprove, rebuke,

exhort with all long suffering

and doctrine.

Most probably, every day folks in the past, upon seeing a prophet of God approach, they'd say something like:

"Oh boy, here comes trouble!"

For it's true.

A prophet, will have to say things, as God had instructed them.

He will not conform to what people want, which are:

Smooth talk.

Isaiah 30:9-10

King James Version

9 That this is a rebellious people,

lying children

children that will not hear the law of the Lord:

10 Which say to the seers

See not

and to the prophets

Prophesy not unto us right things

speak unto us smooth things

prophesy deceits:

Lies.

Jeremiah 5:30-31

King James Version

30 A wonderful and horrible thing

is committed in the land;

31 The prophets prophesy falsely

and the priests bear rule by their means

and my people love to have it so

and what will ye do in the end thereof?

Fair speech.

Romans 16:18

King James Version

18 For they that are such

serve not our Lord Jesus Christ,

but their own belly

and by good words and fair speeches

deceive the hearts of the simple.

Fables.

2 Timothy 4:3-4

King James Version

3 For the time will come

when they will not endure sound doctrine

but after their own lusts

shall they heap to themselves teachers,

having itching ears;

4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth,

and shall be turned unto fables.

People are skeptical.

People are hard-hearted.

People are afraid.

People are unaware.

People don't know what to believe.

People don't know who to trust.

People have not been born of water and of the Spirit.

Some, simply don't care.

And there are many false prophets.

But that's for another post.

Atrocities committed against the WORD of GOD will receive its own punishment.

Jeremiah 5:13-14

King James Version

13 And the prophets shall become wind,

and the word is not in them

thus shall it be done unto them.

14 Wherefore thus saith the Lord God of hosts

Because ye speak this word,

behold,

I will make my words in thy mouth fire,

and this people wood,

and it shall devour them.

GOD will not allow anyone to misrepresent Him.

Deuteronomy 18:20-22

King James Version

20 But the prophet,

which shall presume to speak a word in my name,

which I have not commanded him to speak,

or that shall speak in the name of other gods,

even that prophet shall die.

21 And if thou say in thine heart,

How shall we know the word

which the Lord hath not spoken?

22 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the Lord,

if the thing follow not,

nor come to pass,

that is the thing which the Lord hath not spoken

but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously:

thou shalt not be afraid of him.

God is always clear about His instructions.

It is not for man to dilute the Gospel, or to take out from it.

JESUS was very clear how we are to handle His revelations:

Revelation 22:18-19

King James Version

18 For I testify unto every man that heareth

the words of the prophecy of this book,

If any man shall add unto these things,

God shall add unto him the plagues

that are written in this book:

19 And if any man shall take away

from the words of the book of this prophecy,

God shall take away his part out of the book of life,

and out of the holy city,

and from the things

which are written in this book.

Simply put?

We are not to mess around with the Word of God.

Prophets must not mask, edit, or modify God's message.

Prophets deliver precisely.

Just as God wants it.

And it is not the message the world wants to hear.

Such as -- REPENT.

For that is often the case.

We need to repent for our iniquities.

For the day of the Lord draws near.

The Hypocrisy of Popularity

Luke 6:26

King James Version

26 Woe unto you,

when all men shall speak well of you!

for so did their fathers to the false prophets.

Do you really know if people genuinely care for you?

Would that be the amount of likes on social media?

Or high approval ratings on surveys?

Or the number of votes you got online?

Or the number of awards you've received?

Do those really give a true picture of your worth as a person?

Or are we deluding ourselves, and fattening other people's pockets, as they continue this illusion we have of ourselves?

Long after Jesus went back to the Father -- over 2,000 years now -- His Name lives on.

His Word lives on.

Do we have such a legacy?

Or are we so beholden to the world, we'll die of shame, if no one likes our posts or videos, the products or services we push, or even likes us for who they think we are?

Are we so addicted to the idea of being loved, liked, or being popular?

Can that ever compare to the love God gives you, freely, and perfectly, through His Son, Jesus?

Even if there was social media during the time of Jesus, do you think He'll latch on to it?

Or perhaps, He might lash at it, as He did when people turned His Father's house into a market place.

Matthew 21:12-13 (KJV)

12 And Jesus went into the temple of God,

and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple,

and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers,

and the seats of them that sold doves,

13 And said unto them,

It is written,

My house shall be called the house of prayer;

but ye have made it a den of thieves.

Scripture has also likened our bodies with the temple of the Holy Spirit.

There can be no vanity, where Spirit is.

The Lord was not known to be popularity-hungry.

He was known to disappear when crowds spoke of His miracles.

He was particular what needed to be shared, or not, and instructed people accordingly.

And yes, He disappeared when they wanted to stone Him.

He was getting too popular, and powerful, for comfort.

Jesus never conceded to the world, for He knew who was prince of it.

He only cared to do the will of the Father.

We are all in great error, getting so neurotic about likes, or dislikes, looks, and lack of looks (or so we think).

Vanity's been eating us up for the longest time.

A sure tool of the devil.

Do we really believe everything others tell us?

Psalm 12:2 (KJV)

2 They speak vanity every one with his neighbour:

with flattering lips and with a double heart

do they speak.

Is that how we are measured by God?

Of how good we look, how rich we are, how brainy we are, how famous we are?

He only cared we loved, and believed in His Son.

Where believing born agains are going, there is no social media.

There is no popularity contest.

There is no beauty, brains, big bucks contest.

There is only GOD, with JESUS at His right hand.

That's what I aspire for each day, before I expire.

Romans 12:2 (KJV)

2 And be not conformed to this world:

but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind,

that ye may prove what is that good,

and acceptable,

and perfect,

will of God.

Stop this madness right now.

Stop this demonic self-absorption.

The world only cares for us for two seconds.

God cares about us forever.

His LOVE is legendary.

1 John 4:9-10 (KJV)

9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us,

because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world,

that we might live through him.

10 Herein is love,

not that we loved God,

but that he loved us,

and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

Of course, I don't expect to be popular as I say this.

But then again, I serve the Lord.

And the Lord is not of this world.

Man's Flesh and God's SPIRIT

Romans 8:1

King James Version

8 There is therefore now no condemnation

to them which are in Christ Jesus,

who walk not after the flesh,

but after the Spirit.

How does our flesh differ from God's Spirit?

What can the Holy Spirit of God do for us, in our battle against the sins of the flesh?

Here are marked differences, amazingly just from one chapter in Scripture:

Romans 8:2

King James Version

2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus

hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

Romans 8:3

King James Version

3 For what the law could not do,

in that it was weak through the flesh,

God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh,

and for sin

condemned sin in the flesh:

Romans 8:5

King James Version

5 For they that are after the flesh

do mind the things of the flesh

but they that are after the Spirit

the things of the Spirit.

Romans 8:6

King James Version

6 For to be carnally minded is death

but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

Romans 8:10

King James Version

10 And if Christ be in you,

the body is dead because of sin

but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

Romans 8:11

King James Version

11 But if the Spirit of him

that raised up Jesus from the dead

dwell in you

he that raised up Christ from the dead

shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit

that dwelleth in you.

Romans 8:13

King James Version

13 For if ye live after the flesh,

ye shall die

but if ye through the Spirit do mortify

the deeds of the body,

ye shall live.

Romans 8:15

King James Version

15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage

again to fear

but ye have received the Spirit of adoption,

whereby we cry,

Abba, Father.

Romans 8:18

King James Version

18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time

are not worthy to be compared with the glory

which shall be revealed in us.

Romans 8:21

King James Version

21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered

from the bondage of corruption

into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

If the Spirit of God dwells in us, we are in the Spirit.

Romans 8:9

King James Version

9 But ye are not in the flesh,

but in the Spirit,

if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you

Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ,

he is none of his.

Romans 8:26

King James Version

26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities:

for we know not what we should pray for as we ought

but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us

with groanings which cannot be uttered.
